Last weekend I was pleased to receive the endorsement of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and on Monday I was endorsed by the Palm Aire Civic Association, representing a large voter-rich community in Pompano Beach. Also, several weeks ago I was endorsed by the Realtor's Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale over my democratic opponents and the republican incumbent sheriff.
The campaign is going strong and we're executing what I believe will be a winning strategy. I wanted to keep you informed of the campaign's progress and to ask for your continuing support. These final days will be challenging, inasmuch as I expect a barrage of personal negative advertising by anonymous parties, aimed at suppressing the truth. A few politicians/lobbyists in this county, who conduct business in stereotypical smoke-filled backrooms, are unwilling to give up their power and they will do whatever it takes to regain control of the Broward Sheriff's Office.

Early voting begins August 11 and the primary election will be on August 26 (see attachment for volunteer information). Your financial support is urgently needed in order for me to communicate the message to more voters.
