Conservative on Target!

Obama and the Politics of Condescension > Some Democrats think Americans are not quite up to the task of democracy…. Progressives have often disguised their true views and intentions. But as the political fortunes of Mr. Obama and the Democratic Party have collapsed, their veneer of respect for the America polity is being stripped away. This is good to know. My guess is 'round about November 2012 the American people will frame their reply to this liberal condescension.

The Banker Baiters > Punish bank earnings, so banks raise fees. Then denounce banks for raising fees: These can't possibly be the answers to a struggling economy in the U.S. and a debt crisis in Europe. As for the problems of 2008, bankers created plenty of them, though not as many as government did. In 2011, banker baiting won't help the economy, and we doubt it will do much for Democratic election chances either. [Is this the old don’t 'let a crisis go to waste” play? – JS]
New Jihad Book: Why It’s Fine To Kill The Women And Children Of Infidels: “When the infidels, the enemies of the faith, [began] to harm the Muslims and rushed to [perpetrate] evil and tyranny, violate taboos, and kill women and children, to the extent that things could not get any worse… a band of believers stood up to end this hostility and pay [the infidels] back for it many times over, with justice and fairness…” claims Sheikh Abu Al-Hassan Al-Azdi in the introduction. Muslim warriors today still are commanded to act in this fashion, the author goes on to say.
WUSS Watch 2! Obama: Fiddling as America Burns: Folks, as you know I used to be the president of a division of a German bank… So I decided to tap into my network and get some more answers. By and large, their reactions were very similar. And they weren’t so much surprising as they were disappointing. The U.S. had always been a global leader, they said, and whether or not they always agreed with our decisions, it was always understood that we were doing the things a leader needed to do. When they had a problem, the U.S. had always been there for them. That is no longer the case. We used to be the dog, and Europe was the tail. But thanks to weak leadership in Washington, that dynamic has shifted. Anymore, we seem to wag according to Europe.
Republicans Advance a Bill Defunding U.N. Population Control Agency: U.S. House Republicans fired another shot across the bow of the United Nations Wednesday, advancing a bill to defund a U.N. agency accused of complicity in China’s coercive population control policies. [Pray this bill keeps going! China is +400,000,000 female abortions and counting! – JS]
Wuss Watch > Obama Scolds Nation: You've Gotten Soft:
"The way I think about it is, you know, this is, uh, you know, a great, uh, great country that had gotten a little soft, and you know, we didn't have that same competitive edge that we needed over the last, uh, couple of decades. We need to get back on track." -- President Barack Obama.
The gall is breathtaking, even from a man who as a presidential candidate said, "We are the ones we've been waiting for." …
We end with another quote from then-newly elected Barack Obama: "I will be held accountable. ... If I don't have this done in three years, then there's going to be a one-term proposition.” [You betcha! – JS]
muslim-brotherhood1US Courting Diplomatic Relations with Islamist Group that Murders Christians:
  …
the Obama administration says and does nothing in defense of Egyptian Christians or the US’s strongest ally in the region, Israel.  Instead, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama are actively trying to meet with and establish diplomatic relationship with the very same group [The Muslim Brotherhood] that has launched all-out war with those who profess faith in Jesus Christ.
Obama and Clinton both claim to be Christians, yet this is one of a growing list of actions on their part to reach out to the Muslims who have vowed to destroy Christians as well as Jews. [Incredible but they will dismiss it as a diplomatic maneuver! – JS]
