Conservative on Target! Pawlenty Weasels, Lies, GOP Likes Perry, Clinton, Insert Change, $5MM Stink

Pawlenty Announces Bid to Be Mitt Romney's Vice President: [After watching Meghan Kelly destroy Tim Pawlenty in an interview about his new-found trust and respect for Mitt Romney’s character and positions, I realized why I was always queasy every time I listened to Pawlenty. As Meghan and the hyper-linked article hinted, was Pawlenty simply bought off for a VP nomination? Watching Pawlenty squirm and weasel is an object lesson in the venality of our 2 party monopoly politics. – JS]

Obama Buys the Drinks That Other Guys Pay For:
Paid for. "Everything in this [Job] bill," Obama said in his eighth paragraph, "will be paid for. Everything."
By whom? Well, in the 24th paragraph he tells us that he is asking the 12-member super-committee Congress set up under the debt ceiling bill to add another $450,000,000,000 or so to the $1,500,000,000,000 in savings it is charged to come up with. The roving camera showed the ordinarily hardy super-committee member Sen. Jon Kyl looking queasy.
Obama is like the guy in the bar who says, "I'll stand drinks for everyone in the house," and then adds, "Those guys over there are going to pay for them." [He projects. He misdirects. He lies. – JS]
Leader of the Pack:
After a mixed performance in his first debate since joining the field of Republican presidential candidates, Texas Gov. Rick Perry is maintaining his status as the national frontrunner, according toa new CNN/ORC International poll conducted on the eve of Perry's second debate.
Perry leads former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, 30 percent to 18 percent, according to the poll, released early Monday. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is at 15 percent, with Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, at 12 percent. All other candidates earn five percent or less -- including Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., who is at only four percent…
But perhaps the most striking indication that Republicans see Perry as the singular frontrunner: When asked which candidate has the best chance to defeat President Obama, Republicans choose Perry over Romney by a wide margin, 42 percent to 26 percent.

Vote Buying with Big Labor: Rebates on social security taxes will not create any jobs, let alone the 1.5 million to 2 million that is projected. To create jobs in private business we need structural reforms that will permanently make businesses more competitive such as health care reform and scrapping numerous union work rules. [We need to create jobs that create jobs, not jobs that disappear when the money is gone! - JS]
The $500 Million Stink! A Close Look At The Motives Behind The Solyndra Raid > [If you don’t think this stinks yet, you have to read this. It appears that the Obama administration is intentionally letting their major contributor George Kaiser have a preferred position in the bankruptcy, meaning that he will get his money back before We the People do,  if we get any back at all! – JS]
