Conservative on Target!

Obamageddon: Why the U.S. Economy Is the Titanic Headed for the Iceberg: This time the results are going to be dramatically worse than 1929. This time we are facing The Greatest Depression ever. Obamageddon. Why? Because The Great Depression had NONE of problems and obligations we are now facing.

Rasmussen: Perry 29%, Romney 18%, Bachmann 13% [We are now going to see a whole rash of single-issue nay sayers! – JS]
On Esprit de Corps > Some say "arrogance". We call it "pride!: "I think that what makes Marines special, if only in our own minds, is that elusive Quality of Esprit D'Corps.  It's the fact that we, as individual Marines, don't feel that we are individual Marines.  When we wear our uniform, when we hear our Hymn, when we go into battle, we are going with every other Marine who ever wore the uniform.
Film critic Kyle Smith on why young adults today are soft as pudding: Young adults born in the 1980s and early 1990s leaped out of nicotine- and alcohol-free wombs to be deemed geniuses every time they passed a test, awarded trophies every time they caught a ball and tucked into comfy car seats on the victory ride over to their favorite sushi palace. They took groovy public-service internships at an age when their grandfathers were sweating on assembly lines or being shot at by Nazis, lived with their parents until they were 28, then proceeded directly to their shrinks for marathon weeping sessions every time they messed up a project at work. They're as soft as pudding, and they know it. The Greatest Generation didn't need triathlons or X-treme skateboarding.
Soldiers from Company C and Scout Platoon, 1st Battalion, salute as Soldiers killed in an improved explosive device strike are flown to Kandahar Air Field. Laura Rauch/Stars and StripesMy Whole Squad Is Gone” Says It All: “It’s like your family just got ripped out of your heart,” Pfc. Thadius Deloatch said… “They want to crush our hopes. They want to demoralize us. It’s not working. Those are their tactics, but we’re still here, every day. Until we accomplish the mission, we’re not going anywhere.”

Tea partier heckles Obama: Why are you talking about civility when Biden’s calling us terrorists? [Obummer actually denied that Biden called Tea Partiers terrorists inspite of the vast TV coverage proving it! – JS]

Unarmed Brits Go to Bat:
Online sales of aluminum bats on Amazon.com increased by 6,000 percent during the violence, according to CNN. Most British police don’t carry guns. The situation is a far cry from the right to bear arms enshrined in the English Bill of Rights, a forerunner of our Second Amendment.

Thomas Sowell: Social Degeneration: Nevertheless, the dogma persists that differences between groups can only be due to the way others treat them or to differences in the way others perceive them in "stereotypes." All around the country, people in politics and the media have been tip-toeing around the fact that violent attacks by blacks on whites in public places are racially motivated, even when the attackers themselves use anti-white invective and mock the victims they leave lying on the streets bleeding. This is not something to ignore or excuse. It is something to be stopped.
Obama: I reversed recession until the [dog ate my homework]!
The Truth about Billionaire Warren Buffett’s Tax Hike Pleas: The trouble with this Obama–Buffett tax hike collusion, though, is all the pieces that are left out of the puzzle. First of all, the billionaire is paying more in taxes than he would lead you to believe… Mitchell also points out that Buffett “completely ignores the impact of the death tax, which results in the federal government seizing 45 percent of his assets,” and “mischaracterizes the impact of the Social Security payroll tax, which is dedicated for a specific purpose.” [What is Buffoon really up to? – JS]
