On Target: Fed Idiocy, Uncivil Unions, Un-strategic GOP, Rove and more!

Would you believe that 44 of 47 federal job training programs do the same thing? GAO Report Reveals Not Just Mere Duplication, But Unbridled Idiocy

Why is collective bargaining bad? Easy > the average federal employee’s compensation totals $123,409 – or more than twice the average private sector salary.

Uncivil Unions: “As with so many other things, such as vegan restaurants and the crack epidemic, California leads the country in destruction by government unions.”

Is the GOP unable to lead Congress after they caved so easily on the budget extension? Or are they just “Unwilling, it seems, to lead. Perhaps Scott Walker, John Kasich and Chris Christie could spend a day with the House GOP and lay out for them what it takes, including a willingness to get into the fray and make the case even if 49% of the audience is booing”.

Carl Rove thinks the GOP needs to know “a message of austerity and prosperity is far more powerful than either one alone”. I sure hope this doesn’t mean he’s caving on austerity. If only one is possible, wouldn’t you choose austerity?

Obama's Health Waiver Gambit [Con Game]: The White House offers the mirage of state flexibility. Here’s my post on the WH shell game.

Longhorns 17, Badgers 1 is a must read as one of the best debunkers of Lib/Prog “facts” about education results measured the way they should be with “covariants”.

Here’s why it is that Conservatives are called the “right” and Liberals are called the “left.”: The heart of the wise inclines to the right, But the heart of the fool to the left.” Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV) (smile)
